About Us

We’re Sam and Jock Matthews, two brothers from Dubbo, NSW. We grew up with boxing gloves on our hands and a fire to push ourselves further, inside and outside the ring.

The name Soreheads is a double entendre. In boxing, you take hits and walk away with a sore head. Life’s no different. We all deal with stress, setbacks and addictions all which leave their mark. Like most young Aussie men, we’ve faced our fair share of struggles.

Soreheads is our way of turning pain into power. Boxing gave us an escape, a discipline, and a brotherhood - and now we want to inspire others to find their own outlet, whether it’s through fighting, training, or chasing any passion that pulls them onto a better path.

Our vision is simple: help others to be confident, resilient, and step out of their comfort zone. 

This brand is more than just boxing content or clothing - it’s a reminder that every hit you take, every sore head you carry, can be fuel to keep moving forward.
